Context
FEED Projects is a sustainable women's lifestyle brand known for its simple, functional, purposeful bags that give back back: Helping to end childhood hunger by donating a portion of every purchase to Feeding America.
Challenge
FEED was seeing diminishing Meta returns on a six-figure advertisin budgets—despite historically high-performing ad creative—and declining conversion rates site-wide. This was especially alarming given the seasonality: Two weeks prior to Black Friday.
Integrating an analysis across heat maps, organic search, and creative performance analytics, we quickly realized that this was a market mis-alignment problem, not a Meta problem (for once).
Execution
Integrated Analysis
An integrated analysis (organic, performance, SEO) revealed a macro-level market mis-alignment, not a Meta ads issue. Once‑loved products were being overlooked simply because of a shift in consumer search behavior.
Conversion Rate Optimization
The drop in organic search volume impacted negative site-wide performance. A slow burn, but less organic reach means less effective look-a-like audiences for Meta.
Creative Sprint
We shifted category- and product-level copywriting to preserve brand IP but better align with organic search trends, which drove an immediate lift in site-wide conversion rates (+70%).
Iterative A/B Testing
Using low-budget Meta campaigns to rapidly A/B test messaging tweaks across broad audiences allowed us to maximize learnings and impact with minimal upfront investment.
Full-Funnel Optimization
Reaching statistical significance after 48 hours, we implemented winning concepts across all digital touchpoints.
